I have had migraine headaches from age 4 to 12, one to two times a month, severe. It returned 18 years ago, and I have tried everything except needles. The only thing that works is pain medication. I don't like it, am embarrassed to say it, hope one day I will find something better. It starts 30 minutes after I wake up until bedtime 7 days a week. Part of the cause, I think, it was passed by my grandmother who was exactly the same. Plus stress and anxiety. Not everyone takes pain medication to get high.

I get up every morning with a headache, have it all day, and go to bed with it. Some days are worse than others. I have learned to live with it. Tests have been, run medicines have been tried, and nothing helps.

My headache starts every summer due to heat. I get headaches above the eye, from the right eye to the middle of my head. It is only on one side, i.e., right side of the head, where one kind of nerve pains so much.

I have had migraines for 42 years. I have tried so many, many abortive medications and a couple pain medications. My husband and I know what works, and they will not give it to me. Demerol and Phenergan knock me out for a few hours and that is the only thing that helps and also to at least have a few hydrocodone pills. I stress that I am not a dope addict but since some other people who are dope addicts and have ruined us in pain, I do not get my pain medicines. I need to find a doctor who will listen and disperse me just a few. They do not give me rebound headaches.

I have sharp pain in my head when I cough, more towards the front right side, with ringing in my ear.
