I was kicked in the side of the head when I was young and it took plastic surgery to fix the side of my head. I knocked my teeth out second time when I was kicked in the back of the head. After that time my entire body started feeling like it was on fire, like my entire body had had the skin pulled off of it and all the nerves were exposed to the air. My brain felt like it was on fire. It never stopped, just burned worse and worse. Anything I put in my mouth to eat made me burn even worse. I tried to commit suicide, but couldn't.

My husband fell and he hit his head. He is in the hospital and his brain is still bleeding. He was given platelets, his brain has not stopped bleeding. He is on a ventilator to help him breath, on restraints, and on sedations also. It has now been a total of 6 days. I think they call this a contusion in layman terms.
