The corner side of my toenail is severely infected with nail fungus and it smells pungent. Sometimes it pains when it comes into contact with water.

My nails are attacked by fungus. The nails of a finger and a thumb have been majorly decayed. My case is four years old. I have tried terbinafine hydrochloride and mometasone furoate cream for more than one year. But no change.

My nails are yellow from nail fungus, looks like yellow pus got inside; with too much watery content.

I don’t know if I have nail fungus or not. My fingernail won’t grow past the end of my finger and it splits down the middle of the nail. Plus it hurts if I press it at the split and also at the cuticle area.

I have had thin, mushy, some black fingernails over the last two years and they don"t seem to connect to the nail bed properly. I have been to a dermatologist and received a medication which did not help. I asked if I could use nail polish as the nails are ugly. The dermatologist said that should not be a problem. Some of the nails are pretty clear but do not connect to the nail bed.

What is happening is that under the nail the skin is growing in small pieces and makes the nail bed change the shape and goes up.
