My nephew became sick with swelling of his hands, feet and penis at age 58. He was so swollen at the time he told his mother about his problem that she rushed him to the hospital. They took lots of water from his body and told him he had Fabry disease. He became very sick and had to have kidney dialysis, and later he received a kidney transplant. He had to take anti-rejection drugs. The anti-rejection drugs caused him to develop cancer of the brain. He died about one year later.
