My Epstein-Barr virus infection symptoms were swollen lymph nodes on one side of my face, fatigue for weeks, lost voice, and cold symptoms for weeks.

After a motor vehicle accident I had 2 lumbar epidurals and steroid shot in my joint and became ill a few days later with what seemed like the worst flu ever. I had terrible fatigue, sore throat, headache, ache all over, etc. Some symptoms got better but the fatigue stayed. It took ten months but I was tested and diagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). VCA-IgG was 750 plus, EA-D, IgG 26.8, and EBNA IgG negative. A year later I now have CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) and fibromyalgia, and numbers are still staying high.

I had Epstein-Barr virus infection for 2 years when I was 26 to 28. I saw an infectious disease doctor for that length of time. He was wonderful. I became debilitated and needed some rehabilitation after. I haven't had blood work recently to see if my levels are elevated again but I sure feel like it is back. I know it stays dormant and can react again. I just don't know what to do.
