Question:
What was the treatment for your non-polio enterovirus infection? If your child was the one who was ill, how was your child's non-polio enterovirus infection treated? Submit Your Comment
My treatment for non-polio enterovirus infection was self-selected ibuprofen, guaifenesin, cough suppressant, and staying home. The doctor prescribed an albuterol inhaler, antibiotic (to use if symptoms did not improve), codeine cough medicine, and prednisone. The prednisone has helped a lot as has the cough medicine. I continue to stay at home to prevent infecting my grandchildren and hospitalized husband.
