Jobs often lead to addiction or drug abuse. Symptoms are automatically reaching for a drink after a long hard day at work, or self-medicating with drugs or alcohol as a way to cope with the stress surrounding day-to-day life and job.

You left out how benzodiazepines have no “cure” or antidote and after taken for several years or decades, one's GABA receptors are completely inverted. As for long term benzodiazepine user, regardless of how long you have taken them legally, responsibly and as prescribed, make sure you have a living will drawn up as soon as possible.

I have a 27-year-old who is addicted to steroid inhalers. She uses them about 8-10 times a day. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
