I have a cyst on my left arm and it was painless. After 2 years I went to the doctor to remove it because it was getting bigger, and 4 months after surgery it is back. It makes me feel depressed.

Segment of central nervous tissue with ependymal cyst. Surgical procedures produced transitory relief, with pain, numbness, and incapacity returning shortly thereafter. Subsequently, several separate surgical procedures were performed to correct and/or control wound drainage, infections, and cerebral spinal flluiid fistula. Rendered totally feeble, and incapacitated, suffering numbness from the umbilicus down, bladder dysfunction andn/or neurogenic bladder/sphincter together with lower extremity weakness, resulting inability to ambulate, totally disabled.

I had a very small benign cyst removed from L1,L2 in 1999. Surgery was performed Monday, Tues, Wed, consecutively, results are that i have para-paralysis from beneath the navel down both legs and under both feet. i have to catherize to urinate, use laxatives to movel bowels, am in diapers, need chux, surgical gloves. Three lawyers state i have a definite lawsuit, but cannot spend the time to prove what went wrong. I have disability only, am in a wheelchair, and in an 'assisted living facility. Maintenance is very expensive, i have disability only, I was in excellent health until this occurred, have seen several neurolgist/neurosurgeons who say they cannot correct this situation. I have children/grandchildren, and being crippled makes me very unhappy and non-productive, as i am a full time job taking care of myself.
