I have a Baker’s cyst in the back of the knees and been told the only treatment is to have knee replacements. But I feel that if the cysts weren’t there my arthritis in knees would not cause me any pain. But I have upped my water drinking and stopped eating sweets and sugar, and I feel I can walk much better in just over a week.

My child had a cyst removed in emergency room. First time the doctor used a needle and squeezed the contents out. The 2nd time for the recurrence in 5 months, he struck it with round hemostats several times too abrasively and more blood is coming. I feel discomfort.

I have had sebaceous cyst for years over right scapula, drained by me, several times a year. Finally it wouldn't drain, became red and sore. Doctor removed it, but a few weeks later I noticed a black pinpoint mark in the scar. Doctor found and removed a 2nd cyst. It is ok now. I have another cyst on lower back that doesn't bother me, and also a ganglion cyst on right middle finger, injected with cortisone, became smaller, but didn't go away. I also have two cysts on leg above ankle, and the doctor says if they don't hurt, I don't need treatment. I also have fibrocystic breasts, had several biopsies, all negative for cancer.

I observe last few months that I have a cyst on the right side of my breast. It is still small but I want to get it treated while small to prevent cancer and operation.
