My corneal ulcer resulted from a cat scratch that became infected.

I have severe dry eye and recently started using heat compress every night. I added a wet washcloth to the mix and ended up with a corneal ulcer which is so painful. I've had a corneal abrasion before and this is way more painful. I'm on ciprofloxacin and some ointment every night. So very painful. Didn't realize how serious this was but I'm grateful I went to the doctor.

I developed a corneal ulcer after laser for astigmatism and cataract surgery on the same day. A few weeks after the surgery I started feeling pain in my right eye. I've been to the eye doctor ever since every week for 4 months, to no avail. I don’t know what to do next.
