I went to the emergency room 3 days ago because of bad chest pain in my right chest. I got an x-ray and the doctor told me I have a fractured rib in my right upper chest.

I went to the emergency room on Monday because of my chest pains that started on Saturday. I'm 27 years old. They ran an EKG, did chest x-rays, took blood samples, and said my blood pressure and heart rate were great but they still couldn't diagnose my problem. I was prescribed 50 mg of Tramadol Hcl and 500 mg of Naproxen. The pain is still there and no one could tell me what the cause is. The medication is not helping at all.

I was diagnosed with AVNRT last feb, and had a cardiac ablation. Since then I have had awful chest pain in the left side of my chest. This started the night I went home from the procedure. I have had echocardiagrams, EKG's, blood work -- and still a year later have no relief. So frustrating. The palpitations seemed to have gone away, so for that I am grateful, but if I knew that i would have chronic chest pain, I am not sure I would have ever had the procedure.
