I am a female, 44 years old. I had a hysterectomy 21 years ago because of cysts on the ovaries. I'm taking hormone replacement therapy for the last 10 years. Recently my blood pressure went up a little bit, but heart was fine and blood pressure is ok now. I felt blood flow in my ears, and after ultrasound test, I found out that I have 17 percent narrowing in carotid arteries. The doctor told me to stop the hormone replacement. I also changed my lifestyle and begin exercising and eating healthier food.
