My brother who started having symptoms of Canavan disease at age 21, used to draw, rap, play basketball and was very active. All of a sudden he started limping with his left leg which we thought was an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) tear, which then progressively got worse day by day, and his left arm started to curl up. Once he started slurring his speech we took him to the emergency room. After 2 years of being undiagnosed, he went from limping to using a cane to wheelchair and now he can barely move.

I didn't know that I was having the disease, but for a long time I have been having smelly sweat, mild headache, itchy chills after shower and diarrhea just after having tea.
