I have been vomiting for over 3 weeks because of botulism. I have had bouts of blurred vision and also double vision. I don't have any constipation issues, because I have barely had anything to eat of course, but I have been drinking like crazy in between painting my apartment, with my lunch. My equilibrium is off and so us my depth protection. I am not running a fever. I have muscle spasms all over my back and arms going on but they don't hurt. I think my kidneys hurt a little; well, I have pain in the area where the kidneys are.

Firsthand account: Early signs of botulism are profound muscle weakness to the point of collapsing after 10 steps; blurry vision, inability to activate lung muscles to draw in a breath of air, feeling of impending death. Doctors will not recognize, or misdiagnose. If these severe symptoms appear within 24 hours, there is 85 percent chance of death. Prepare to get on ventilator and request (demand) antitoxin as soon as possible from CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention). This happens when Botox goes systemic in bloodstream and transfers to brain via spinal column. JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) Feb 2001 explains 150 lb. person will die 50 percent of the time with an 88 unit injection. Cosmetic injections are supposed to be 20 but are 50 to 100 often.
