I am suffering from arm pain from shoulder to my middle arm. I wake up at because of the pain. I had a colon cancer in 2004 and declared cancer free. I am worried the pain is a symptom of bone cancer.

My son died with star metastatic bone cancer 2 years ago. He was 28. I believe when he decided to stop his medicine he had a big growth spurt. He was so healthy until he complained about a pulled muscle in his back. Doctors were puzzled so they treated him for a year with Xgeva shot. Then a tumor broke through and he was diagnosed. My main concern was he was on 185 mg of morphine, and palliative care dropped him to 15 mg in a day. He had massive withdrawals. Wonder if they were responsible for his dying.

My dad has been in terrible pain for a couple of years and the doctors cannot figure out why. His bones hurt, especially his pelvis and feet. He can't sleep as it hurts even with layers of foam. He says his ears even hurt if he sleeps on them. I just learned of chondrosarcoma, a form of bone cancer.

Before my diagnosis, I had throat cancer surgery, followed by radiation and chemotherapy in July of 2005. Two months ago I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and bone degeneration in my top three discs.
