I started taking Depo-Provera after my first child in 1997, after finding out the pill was not for me. It made me crazy. The shot only took a few moments and I was protected for 90 days. I was on and off the method until June of 2015. I was told with my next 2 children it was the safest to take while breast feeding. Later I read that was untrue. I also had dizzy spells and headaches the last 7 years of being on the shot. After stopping I found out I had breast cancer stage 4. I think it is the shot.
