My bilirubin level is 2.6 to 2.8 always. Direct is 0.4 and rest is indirect. My doctor told me to stop drinking totally and take Liv.52 DS one tab daily. But whether I drink or not, or take the tablet or not, my bilirubin level is stubbornly the same. So my doctor himself has given up. Constant fatigue is my only symptom.

It is my understanding that a full-term infant (that being an infant weighing over 5 pounds) has not suffered from kernicterus.
