My bird flu symptoms were everything from muscle aches, temperature as high as 39.1, severe abdominal pain, dry cough, and sometimes dry or leaky eyes. My blood pressure crashed. I was really distressed trying to just breathe. Treatment consisted of sterile throat gargle. I took fluids, Tamiflu, antibiotics, and painkillers. Still not sure how I got it. But it was very scary period.

My bird flu started with a cough, and breathing felt like my lungs were full. I had fevers and horrible fatigue. Along with it came a runny nose. I was off work for the past week and headed back to work this week but I still feel like I was hit by a truck.
