I ended up with atypical left atrial flutter after a 4.5 hour atrial fibrillation ablation on 2-28-2020. I am taking 150 mg flecainide BID, 10 mg Eliquis BID and 25 mg metoprolol BID since. This is awful and now I wish I never had the ablation. Hoping at the end of 3 months post-operation this resolves but I'm not too optimistic at this point.

I was diagnosed with atrial flutter four years ago. I am on metoprolol and Eliquis. I rarely have flutter now and when I do, it only lasts about ten minutes at the most, about 3 or 4 times a year. I would like to get off these medicines but I am afraid of getting a stroke.
