I wonder if ascites continues until endometrial cancer cells stop growing. My tummy still hurts and has to be drained. I have had to go every 5 days to help with the discomfort.

Undiagnosed high blood pressure caused my congestive heart failure (CHF) and ascites. I noticed considerable swelling of my abdomen (52 inches) before and after being diagnosed with CHF. Other parts of my body seem of normal dimensions. Lysix controls the fluid in my extremities, but stomach is the same. Like a beer gut. Very uncomfortable.

I seem to have a bloated stomach. I have a weighed 143 pounds for 3 years but my stomach seems to be the biggest thing on me, so I am concerned that it might be ascites.

I have had my stomach drained twice. It has been large again from ascites for a few months, I have gone in twice again and after the ultra sound both times they said they couldn’t do it because it was pockets of fluid.
