As stated to many others, be careful of overmedication by physician's assistant (PAs). I have had a PA to prescribe metformin and glipizide for my diabetes. When I gave her the issues I was having, and the warnings the pharmacy personnel gave, she stated this was all incorrect. When I presented the side effect sheets from the medications website, she stated she did not realize that medications had those side effects. I laughed at her and walked out of the office visit.
