My 15 year old son with ADHD is a really great guy but makes lousy grades. I can only tell, ask, demand he do his work so many times before I feel just as overwhelmed as he does and we both give up.

My 13 year old son spends a lot of time in isolation - mostly for talking out of turn when he is not supposed to be, and answering back (he always has to have the last word). He fidgets a lot in class and finds it hard to concentrate because of ADHD; easily distracted so other students take full advantage of this. He’s intelligent and academically bright so doesn’t qualify for any support but this doesn’t help him with emotional behaviors! Frustrating educational system!

My 17 year old son has ADHD and no social life. Everybody picks on him in school he stays cooped up in his room 24/7. Also he doesn't want to play any sports and he is not in any club at school. No one wants to be his friend and it hurts me so bad and he feels bad also.

My son continues the same ADHD behavior (doesn't do homework, lies about the dumbest things to lying about big things too, steals, sneaks food into his room in the middle of the night after told not to, doesn't study for tests, barely even does classwork and he always wants, wants, wants). I ground him, I take things away, I yell, but nothing works; he just keeps doing it. He is on medicine, we have changed and upped the medicine, and I don't know what else to do.

He's having trouble doing his work, is always late for his classes and has lots of detention. He keeps having lots of depression, and takes Prozac 20 mg. I don't know what to do to treat his ADHD.

I am receiving emails and calls every other day and or week from teachers, and principals about my teenaged son's ADHD behavior and work ethics. I am aggravated and sometimes at the point where I want to slap him.
