Not sure if it was FAST symptoms but I have had a blood clot before. The left side of my face swelled with some drooping at the left corner of my mouth. Felt very sleepy. I went to bed and when I awoke about 4 hours later the swelling was gone and everything had returned to normal.

This is the second time, actually the third that I have had FAST symptoms. I was very tired on Friday 12/29/2017. I left work early and came home and remember falling onto the bed, tired and exhausted, weak, cold, just a lot of different things happening. My oldest sister called and we chatted, and 8 minutes into the conversation, I started feeling like I couldn't talk, and there were things I wanted to say, yet the words wouldn't form. My sister stated, 'what's wrong with you? Your speech is slurred!' I stated in a very slow and steady manner 'I am not sure, I am feeling funny, the left side of my face feels swollen or like it is drooping! I managed to call my son in the room to ask if he saw any facial changes. As he was looking, I started getting weaker and my words became less and less, I hung up with older sister and had my son call my younger sister, and he did. She is up-to-date on my episodes so she knew what to tell my son to do. He called 911 and after speaking to the operator, in what seemed to be 15 minutes or so, ambulance arrived. They asked me to do all the FAST qualifiers. I couldn't smile, arms raised however and left failed, he asked me to describe what he was holding in his hand which was a pen. Very slowly I was able to describe it as a pen. I mostly remember staring into space until I heard my name shouted. This time the episode lasted 1 hour from start to complete.
